If someone has money, family, work, health problems or even real tragedy. What obligation do you have as the significant other? What can you expect from an SO's treatment towards you? Its interesting that Beth thought he should stay as did another friend of mine, yet Vittoria and J think he shouldn't have and Jolene thought it was a close call. It suggests that different people might react in that last minute emergency situation differently and thus if an SO didn't do what you would do is that a deal breaker? or do you have to consider its just a difficult situation and everyone gets a pass if they dont act perfectly or right or things feel wrong or weird? Ultimately I think thats what I've come up with. If he stayed it would've been weird and sucked. He left and it would've been weird and sucked. If he didn't come at all? We'd probably be breaking up. But he took me and stayed until reinforcements better suited to my medical care arrived. And thats gotta be enough to keep him on board until the next tragedy strikes... -T.Toddyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06844041827618501741noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3382987150662081702.post-47142038155938404912011-02-22T10:55:50.228-08:002011-02-22T10:55:50.228-08:00Sorry for the delayed comment, but just wanted to ...Sorry for the delayed comment, but just wanted to respond to Beth's comment: based on the little I know about the situation from what Toddy shared in the post, I don't think he should've stayed all night.
